The organization was established by representatives of the collision repair, automotive, and insurance industries in 1979 and has doubled its revenue over the last six years.

 

Today, the I-CAR brand is stronger than it has been in 40 years of operation and has gained a worldwide reputation. There is momentum and excitement among its committed workforce, instructors and volunteers to continue to help the organization grow and expand its breadth of reach and scale. Position Summary:

The Associate Salesforce Developer will work as part of a collaborative Agile team, focusing on development and administration tasks within the Salesforce platform. They will execute assigned development tasks under the guidance of senior team members. This role is primarily responsible for implementing and maintaining configurations and assisting with development tasks. 

 

Essential Job Functions:  

  • Develop and maintain Salesforce functionality using Apex, Lightning Components, Flows, Validation Rules, and Approval Processes. 

  • Assist with Salesforce administration tasks, including configuring Page Layouts, Workflows, Reports, Dashboards, Objects, and Validation Rules. 

  • Debug, refactor, and enhance existing code for improved performance and reliability. 

  • Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code with appropriate unit testing. 

  • Provide support in troubleshooting development and configuration issues. 

  • Assist with providing story estimates on assigned tasks. 

  • Attend and contribute to all Agile SCRUM ceremonies. 

  • Assist with maintaining documentation throughout the development lifecycle 

 

Required Skills/Abilities/Competencies:  

  • Exposure to Apex, Lightning Components, Flows, SOQL, and Validation Rules. 

  • Experience with Salesforce B2B Commerce (CloudCraze) is a plus. 

  • Salesforce Associate Certificate preferred. 

  • Comfortable using GitHub for version control. 

  • Experience with Agile development tools like Jira and Confluence is a plus. 

  • Ability to follow development requirements and execute assigned tasks efficiently. 

  • Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail. 

  • Ability to manage and adapt to changing priorities. 

  • Effective written and verbal communication skills. 

  • Strong organizational and time management abilities. 

 

Education and Experience: 

  • Associate’s Degree in IT, Business, or a related field preferred. 

  • 0-2 years of experience in Salesforce development and administration.
