Job description

Overview

Exostar delivers secure Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions that enable trusted collaboration across highly regulated industries. The Project Manager is responsible for the successful delivery of Professional Services IAM projects, ensuring delivery in line with agreed scope, timelines, budgets, and contractual commitments.

This role operates as an experienced professional contributor, managing complex customer engagements independently while working within established delivery frameworks. The Project Manager takes ownership of planning, coordination, governance, and reporting activities across internal delivery teams, external partners, and customer stakeholders.

Many projects form part of broader customer-side programs, requiring the ability to manage dependencies, navigate cross-team coordination, and align delivery milestones with technical environment readiness and governance processes. The Project Manager works closely with Professional Services Consultants who lead technical IAM delivery, ensuring structured coordination and predictable outcomes while applying sound judgement to resolve delivery challenges.

In addition to managing individual projects, this role contributes to improving project management processes and delivery practices within Professional Services.

Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end delivery of Professional Services IAM projects in accordance with agreed Statements of Work (SOWs), budgets, and timelines.

  • Coordinate internal IAM consultants, technical teams, and external partners to ensure project activities are delivered as planned.
  • Align internal delivery timelines with customer project plans, technical environments, change approval windows, and programme dependencies.
  • Coordinate IAM-focused delivery activities, including Access Management, Identity Governance, directory integrations, and SaaS IAM solutions (e.g., AccessOne/Webtop).
  • Track and proactively manage risks, issues, dependencies, and project progress, exercising judgement to resolve complex delivery challenges.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for customer project coordination and stakeholder communication.
  • Prepare and deliver clear, concise customer-facing status updates and governance reports.
  • Support scope and change management activities, including coordination of change requests and impact assessments.
  • Monitor project budgets and effort against agreed delivery plans, escalating variances where appropriate.
  • Ensure projects adhere to contractual commitments, delivery standards, and agreed governance processes.
  • Support Professional Services leadership in resource planning, forecasting consultant availability, and scheduling work packages.
  • Contribute to the improvement of project management processes aligned to Professional Services delivery needs.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives through lessons learned and structured project feedback.
