Role Summary


We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented General Ledger Accountant to join our finance team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial records, in compliance with US GAAP and internal policies. This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, supporting month-end and year-end close processes, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives across our accounting operations.

You will be part of a collaborative and supportive finance team committed to excellence and innovation.

Your role:

  • Manage day-to-day general ledger activities, including posting journal entries, processing accruals, and performing account reconciliations

  • Oversee and ensure timely completion of month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes

  • Prepare and review financial statements and reports in accordance with US GAAP

  • Conduct general ledger account analysis and reconcile balance sheet accounts to ensure data accuracy

  • Develop, maintain, and execute SOX controls and process documentation

  • Provide accurate and timely information to support internal and external audits

  • Collaborate closely with other finance functions to streamline and improve accounting processes

  • Respond to ad-hoc requests for financial analysis and reporting

Your profile:

  • Possess CPA certification or hold a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field

  • Ideally 2 years of relevant accounting experience in General Ledger/Record to Report

  • Strong command of English, both written and verbal

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and research skills

  • High attention to detail and accuracy

  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders

  • Flexibility to adapt to process changes and business needs

Preferred skills/experience:

  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)

  • Knowledge of Great Plains/Microsoft Dynamics GP

  • Understanding of US GAAP
