Bachelor's degree in a related field (Instructional Design, Adult Education, Educational Technology, eLearning, English) preferred
Three-plus years of experience as an instructional designer
Excellent writing, editing, proofreading and fact-checking skills
Familiarity with learning frameworks such as Adaptive Learning, ADDIE, SAM, or other learning development approaches
Requirements:
Identify instructional strategies that align with instructional goals and anticipated learning outcomes
Design end-to-end learning solutions (instructor-led, e-learning, blended, and hybrid) that incorporate best practices in adult learning theory and cognitive science
Write online course scripts inclusive of clear learning objectives, true-to-life scenarios and challenges, questions, mixed media (audio and video scripting/storyboarding, image selection, gaming elements), printable offline resources and more, ensuring the course is designed with consideration for learner experience, technology, training efficiency and optimal knowledge acquisition/retention

The Instructional Designer is responsible for planning, designing, and developing engaging learning experiences. The individual will help to develop, build and revise a rich library of off-the-shelf, instructor-led, blended, hybrid, and online training products, developed for professionals in banking and financial services. The Instructional Designer works in close collaboration with external subject matter experts and internal teams.

Prepare sales team to be able to discuss the course, expected outcomes, and benefits with members and other customers

Banking or financial services industry experience helpful but not required
The salary range for this position is $75,000 - $90,000. Compensation offered will be determined by factors such as skills, experience, education, job-related knowledge and market considerations.
