The Coding Educator identifies opportunities to improve provider documentation and creates an education plan tailored to each assigned provider. The Coding Educator work assignments are varied and frequently require interpretation and independent determination of the appropriate courses of action.

Required Qualifications

• Candidates must reside within the state of Florida to be eligible for this remote role.

• A minimum of two years of medical coding experience

• AAPC or AHIMA Coding Certification

• Ability to guide business and leadership in process improvement

• Comprehensive knowledge of MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint

• Ability to problem solve complex issues

• Must be a motivated and able to work independently

• Must be able to communicate professionally and remain organized

• Medical record review knowledge

• Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree

• 1+ years facilitation or training experience

Additional Information

• Hours: 8-5 / M-F (CST or ET)

• Remote Role

• Must be able to travel for in person training in markets (Florida , Virginia, Indiana, and/or Kentucky); majority of the training will take place virtually. <20% travel annually.

This role is considered patient-facing and is part of the company's Tuberculosis (TB) screening program. If selected for this role, you will be required to be screened for TB.

Pay Range

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.

 

$59,300 - $80,900 per year

 

This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
