About the Role
As an Account Manager, you will manage and grow Elsevier’s Research Intelligence portfolio across the Middle East and Central Asia, owning renewals and upsell opportunities. You will partner closely with Senior Account Managers and cross‑functional teams to drive revenue growth, ensure smooth contract execution, and maintain strong customer relationships. This role is ideal for a commercially driven professional with a passion for SaaS solutions and customer engagement.
Responsibilities
Manage the Research Intelligence (RI) portfolio across the Middle East and Central Asia
Own and drive renewals and upsell opportunities, including multi‑year contracts
Partner closely with the Senior Account Manager to grow revenue and expand accounts
Coordinate with Sales, Finance, Legal, CSMs, Product, and Operations to ensure smooth renewal execution
Review and negotiate contract terms; maintain accurate data across CRM, Clari, and SalesCloud
Build strong customer relationships and promote the wider Elsevier RI portfolio
Support regional marketing activities and consortium initiatives
Achieve quarterly and annual renewal and new business targets
Requirements
3+ years’ experience in a commercial, sales, or renewal‑focused role
Degree in Marketing, Business Management, or a related field
Experience in the publishing preferred
Strong understanding of SaaS solutions, contracts, and end‑to‑end sales operations
Proven self‑starter with experience managing complex renewals
Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder‑management skills
Fluent in English; Arabic (native or fluent) is a strong plus
