  • Technical degree (electrical/electronics or equivalent) or higher
  • Minimum 2 years of proven field service experience in biotechnology or pharmaceutical sectors
  • Strong troubleshooting, testing, repair and servicing of technical equipment
  • Proficiency in English (spoken and written) with high customer orientation; ability to work flexible shifts; familiarity with mobile tools and IT/network configuration and software installation is a plus

  • Provide field and in-house service and customer support during visits or dispatches
  • Manage on-site installation, repair, maintenance and testing tasks; diagnose errors and determine proper solutions
  • Produce timely and detailed service reports and ensure correct documentation of processes
  • Cooperate with the technical team and build positive relationships with customers

Job description

We are looking for a Field Service Engineer (F/M) based in the area of Barcelona.

The Services Technician will be responsible for delivering the desired customer service experience. The goal is to drive service success that improves customer satisfaction, maximizes customer retention and increases profitability.

What you will accomplish together with us

  • Provide service and customer support during field and inhouse visits or dispatches
  • Manage all on site installation, repair, maintenance and test tasks
  • Diagnose errors or technical problems and determine proper solutions
  • Produce timely and detailed service reports
  • Ensure the timely and correct documentation of processes
  • Operate vehicle in a safely manner and use field automation systems
  • Follow all company's filed procedures and protocols
  • Cooperate with technical team and share information across the organization
  • Comprehend customer requirements and make appropriate recommendations / briefings
  • Contact customers concerning processes of the customer file
  • Build positive relationships with customers

What will convince us

  • Technical degree or better in electronics, or equivalent technical school
  • Minimum 2 years of proven field service experience in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical area
  • Ability to troubleshoot, test, repair and service technical equipment
  • Ability to work flexible shifts and to adapt to changing work schedules
