Major Accountabilities:

Achievement of the sales plan for the region

  • Coach and motivate the sales team

  • Responsible for commercial arrangements within the region

Responsible for building and maintaining positive professional relationships with all external stakeholders in the territory:

  • Assist the sales team in maintaining relationships and gaining commitment and usage of promoted products through meeting with key customers

  • Representation of the company at trade association meetings to promote product

Organisational Development:

  • Clear evidence of the desired behaviours and accountabilities being driven across the team

  • Regional Sales team has:

  • Aligned, SMART objectives in place in a timely manner

  • Quality development plans in place on the TMS system that are being actioned

  • Regular coaching sessions and one to one discussion

  • Drive and own the talent selection / hiring process for key roles

Act in accordance with Alcon Values and behaviours.

Education/Qualifications: Tertiary qualifications in Science or Business

Skills/Experience:

Minimum:

A minimum of 5-10 years sales experience in medical devices, Minimum 3 years field sales management experience

Proven record of Sales success

Logical and systematic approach to achieve objectives of the role.

Strong understanding of Ophthalmic procedures, product technology

Ability to set objectives

Strong leadership experience

5+ Sales management experience
