Essential Functions

  • Customer Excellence: Build and maintain strong relationships while serving as a professional point of contact for all customer issues and concerns.

  • Safe Operations: Perform daily pre/post-trip inspections and operate tractor-trailers and refrigerated vans in a safe, professional manner.

  • Logistics & Maintenance: Monitor reefer temperatures, report mechanical issues immediately, and complete daily check-ins with zero errors.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with sales representatives and management to communicate feedback and attend department meetings to share ideas with peers.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Compliance: Strict adherence to all safety/compliance regulations and procedures.

  • Communication: Ability to read, write, and speak effectively in English to handle paperwork (registers, credits, pick-ups) and customer interactions.

  • Professionalism: Must maintain a professional appearance in the GFS uniform. Punctuality, problem-solving skills, and a "can-do" attitude are essential.

  • Physical Requirements: Ability to meet the physical demands of the job (lifting, pushing, pulling product).
