Overview:
Conducts assignments involving financial analysis projects. This position plays a crucial role in maintaining financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.

Responsibilities:
General Ledger Management
- Prepare journal entries and perform account analysis for balance sheet accounts
- Process intercompany and divisional transactions
- Resolve daily operational issues concerning accounting treatment of financial transactions
- Maintain accurate account and data reconciliation, including supporting sub-ledgers, journals, and other financial documentation within a cost-efficient operation
- Complete assigned monthly closing tasks and cross-train to back up other team members' responsibilities
Controls and Compliance
- Ensure full compliance with GAAP, Panasonic accounting policies and guidelines, and internal controls
- Protect company assets through front-line knowledge and experience
- Conduct internal and external control evaluations and testing
- Support documentation of accounting policies and procedures
Financial Analysis
- Review general ledger accounts, identify and research account discrepancies, and propose and execute solutions
- Assist business partners and the FP&A team in performing monthly balance sheet, income statement, and budget variance analysis
- Compile routine financial reporting as part of the periodic financial cycle and support financial KPI analysis around revenue, profit, inventory, and other key metrics
- Compile ad-hoc reporting with clear instruction and guidance to support transactional-level analysis and overall improvement of the company's financial position
Team and Project Leadership
- Assist business units with day-to-day operating decisions while supporting business partners
- Attend training on project management and leadership skills for future career development
- Understand business and data flows, exercise ongoing process improvement, and communicate effectively within the team and cross-functionally
Qualifications:
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting required
- 1–2 years of related work experience
- Knowledge of major ERP systems such as SAP preferred

The salary range listed below is just one component of Panasonic's total package. Actual compensation varies depending on the individual's knowledge, skills, experience, and location. This role may be eligible for discretionary bonuses and incentives. *The minimum hourly wage for this role will be the greater of the posted range, or minimum wage for the location where the employee will be working, subject to local minimum wage requirements.

Salary Range:
$60,000 –$70,000 + Bonus
