The Digital Sovereignty Architect Job Overview:
The Digital Sovereignty Architect role is part of the Solutions Architect (SA) job family. The SA’s primary function is to work collaboratively with sales teams identifying appropriate F5 solutions to address customers’ business needs. They provide technical expertise and business understanding across specific or multiple industries. They champion our customers’ requirements and ensure they are understood across other teams within F5 such as Sales, Marketing, Product Management, and Product Development.
The SA also shares knowledge and educates the solution engineering team internally and externally via whitepapers, trainings, demos, blogs, tech-tips, presentations etc.
To be effective, an SA needs to blend strong business acumen with excellent technical skills and knowledge on both F5 products and the “eco-system” that we work in. He/she needs to be an authority in his/her field of expertise and act as a trusted advisor towards our customers.
While the traditional Solution Architect is focused on going deep on a specific technology, the Digital Sovereignty Architect role is meant to be much broader and wider. The Digital Sovereignty Architect understands and stays up to date with the regulatory landscape regarding all aspects of sovereignty in different parts of the EMEA region. He/she supports the product teams better understand the requirements in the region to help drive product development, and helps marketing and communications teams to develop positioning messages for ADSP within the sovereignty context. He/she is driving architectural discussions with our customers, helping account teams overcome obstacles related to sovereignty in their specific region and/or industry vertical, and develop opportunities to broaden our coverage in their accounts with our full portfolio of solutions.
