Key Account Manager (Distribution) - Italy

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Business Administration or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of inverter distribution sales experience with an existing distributor network (industry background a plus).
  • Proven track record of consistently surpassing sales targets; self-motivated and performance-driven.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; English C1 and Italian C2 or native; MS Office proficiency; CRM knowledge preferred; ability to interface at executive level.

Requirements:

  • Develop and implement the distribution sales strategy in Italy to achieve sales objectives, profitability, and market share growth.
  • Build, strengthen, and expand the distributor network, including acquiring new partners and aligning growth strategies.
  • Define and manage pricing across the distribution chain (distributors, sub-distributors, installers, end-users) and drive rebates or promotions; monitor results and adjust strategies.
  • Provide regular sales forecasts and KPI reporting to leadership; ensure customers understand Sungrow's technical, commercial, and service advantages.

  • Develop and implement the distribution sales strategy in Italy to achieve sales objectives and increase profitability.
  • Increase Sungrow's market share and grow sales revenue within the Italian distribution market.
  • Cultivate and strengthen relationships with existing distributors while acquiring new ones, developing growth strategies together.
  • Ensure customers are convinced of Sungrow products' technical, commercial, and service advantages.
  • Define and manage pricing strategies across the entire distribution chain, including distributors, sub-distributors, installers, and end-users.
  • Monitor distributor sales results periodically to adjust commercial strategies, implementing rebate plans or special promotions as needed.
  • Provide regular forecasts and KPI reporting for leadership management.
Your profile

  • You hold a Bachelor's degree or higher in Business Administration or a related field.
  • You have a minimum of 3 years of relevant working experience in inverter distribution sales, with an existing network in the distribution market being an advantage.
  • You possess a proven track record of overachieving sales targets.
  • You are self-motivated, performance-driven, and possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Your language skills include English C1, and Italian C2 or native proficiency.
  • You are proficient in MS-Office and ideally have knowledge of CRM software.
  • You have a broad industry network and a proven ability to interface at an executive level.
