Job description

Remote: This is a remote position and can work from anywhere in the US.   We are interested in every qualified candidate who is eligible to work in the United States. However, we are not currently able to sponsor work visas.

“High-Fiver” Wanted: Implementation Project Manager

Are you the type of person who always goes the extra mile? Are you passionate about your craft and always striving to improve? Do you get so excited when a project runs smoothly, and the customer is happy, that you high-five the person next to you? If so, you are exactly who we are looking for.

We are looking for a talented, dedicated Implementation Project Manager to join our high-five team and take part in the continued growth of our dynamic company.

In this position, you will serve as the strategic quarterback for enterprise car wash operators converting from legacy point-of-sale systems to AMP Clarity hardware and software. You will own the full implementation lifecycle — aligning stakeholders, driving timelines, identifying and mitigating risks, and ensuring exceptional client experience from kickoff through go-live and stabilization.

This role is not simply about tracking tasks. It requires executive presence, operational rigor, and strong emotional intelligence. You will act as the primary client-facing leader during conversion, ensuring clarity across shifting schedules, hardware logistics, and technical dependencies. Internally, you will serve as the central hub connecting the Head of Implementation Execution, Hardware Coordinator, Finance Coordinator (for quote and invoice alignment), Account Management, and field teams to deliver seamless deployments at scale.

You will synthesize field-level insights into structured action plans, provide leadership with executive-level visibility into progress and risk mitigation, and continuously document lessons learned to improve and scale the implementation process across the enterprise.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Enterprise Project Governance & Risk Management

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients converting to AMP Clarity, owning the project lifecycle from kickoff through post-go-live stabilization.
  • Identify, proactively mitigate, and clearly communicate project risks, dependencies, and opportunities across hardware, software, staffing, and scheduling workstreams.
  • Distinguish between high-impact priorities requiring immediate focus and lower-value distractions that can derail progress.
  • Synthesize issues from on-site teams into structured work plans with clear owners, due dates, and accountability.
  • Provide both client executives and AMP leadership with concise, executive-level visibility into implementation progress and risk mitigation status.
  • Document lessons learned across projects and drive continuous improvement of implementation playbooks and processes.

Sales Support & Pre-Implementation Coordination

  • Partner with Sales during pre-contract and contracting phases to confirm realistic deployment timelines and resource capacity.
  • Provide resource cost and pricing support during the sales process.
  • Assist with proposal and quote creation, ensuring alignment across scope, hardware requirements, and implementation sequencing.
  • Coordinate with the Hardware Coordinator and Finance Coordinator to confirm hardware quotes and installation fee alignment prior to execution.

Resource Scheduling & Deployment

  • Develop and manage detailed implementation schedules across multiple client sites, balancing internal capacity with client expectations.
  • Assign and coordinate field implementation team members, confirming deployment timing, scope, and readiness.
  • Adjust schedules dynamically to accommodate client-driven changes, construction delays, shipping shifts, weather events, or unforeseen risks.
  • Maintain clear and proactive communication with both internal teams and client stakeholders when timelines shift.

Project Management & Communication

  • Lead recurring weekly client meetings, driving agenda, accountability, and forward momentum.
  • Maintain a structured project plan that clearly outlines milestones, dependencies, and site-level readiness.
  • Keep all internal and external stakeholders apprised of status, changes, and key decision points.
  • Coordinate closely with the Head of Implementation Execution, Hardware Coordinator, and Account Management teams to ensure hardware logistics and account strategy remain aligned with project execution.
  • Partner with external vendors, contractors, and payment processors as necessary to ensure technical readiness and smooth cutover.
  • Maintain a strong, healthy, and positive client relationship throughout the conversion process — even when navigating challenges.
