Position is REMOTE : The selected candidate must reside within 250 km of our BOUCHERVILLE (Qc) office.

The role:

Reporting to the Corporate applications IT manager, the functional analyst is part of the evolution and support team for applications supporting the finance business area.

The functional analyst may also work in a matrix structure to implement change requests from other sectors of the organization, impacting the finance sector, as well as to carry out projects in a project team.

Their main mandate is to perform functional analyses based on the needs of internal clients while liaising with product managers or directly with internal clients, and to produce functional and integrated tests.

The functional analyst works closely with developers assigned to change requests or projects.

RESPONSABILITIES :

  • Produce and update functional analysis documentation;
  • Propose recommendations considering business needs, architecture, existing applications, cost and their impact on processes;
  • Participate in the assessment of expected the time required for development;
  • Assist programmers during the implementation phase;
  • Prepare and execute functional and integrated tests and support accepted tests;
  • Be responsible for production deployment of applications;
  • Ensure compliance and monitoring standards;
  • Assist with the applications support including recording/maintaining tickets the company’s tickets ServiceNow ticket tracking systems;

REQUIREMENTS :

  • Detain a university degree or college diploma in computer science or equivalent;
  • Have at least ten (10) years of experience in system development, including at least five (5) in application analysis;
  • Knowledge of Oracle cloud Fusion ERP is necessary;
  • Knowledge of IBM Planning Analytics is an asset;
  • Experience in the finance and accounting domain;
  • Experience in the retail sector is an asset;
  • Knowledge of the Atlassian suite (Jira, Confluence) is an asset;
  • Possess a strong analytical & synthesis skill;
  • Possess a team spirit and leadership;
  • Ability to easily adapt to changes;
  • Ability to simplify and communicate knowledge;
  • Ability to work within tight deadlines and constraints;
  • Strong organizational skills, service and concern quality;
