You will utilize your certification, analytical skills, and enthusiasm for clear communication to review, prepare, and verify tax documents. Requirements

Key Responsibilities

1. Examine and verify tax documents for completeness, accuracy, and adherence to applicable regulations.
2. Generate, process, and file various tax submissions on behalf of both clients and the organization.
3. Work collaboratively with junior team members, offering guidance and reviewing their contributions to uphold quality standards.
4. Keep current with local, state, and federal tax laws and regulations.
5. Engage in clear and professional communication with team members and stakeholders through both written and verbal means.
6. Evaluate and annotate financial information to facilitate accurate tax reporting and filing.
7. Recognize and report discrepancies or potential issues to senior tax professionals or management.

Required Skills and Qualifications

1. Certified tax agent with demonstrated knowledge in tax preparation and filing.
2. Considerable experience in reviewing tax documents and forms.
3. Strong verbal and written communication abilities, with a focus on precision and clarity.
4. Outstanding attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
5. Capability to operate independently in a remote environment, effectively managing deadlines and priorities.
6. Thorough understanding of current tax laws, codes, and industry best practices.
7. Experience with data annotation or managing financial data.

Preferred Qualifications

1. Mid to senior level experience in handling intricate tax filings and reviews.
2. Prior experience in overseeing or ensuring quality assurance for the tax work of junior staff.
3. Proficiency in using digital tax software and remote collaboration tools.
