Job description

We are now looking to welcome a Live-In Care Assistant to our team, specifically to support a lovely lady in Bovingdon living with Dementia. This package runs over 6 days - Starting at 8am on a Tuesday morning and finishing at 8am Monday morning - allowing you a 24 hour break.

Key Responsibilities

As a Live-In Care Assistant, you will live in the client’s home during your placement and provide high-quality, person-centred care, including:

  • Companionship: Offering social interaction and emotional support to promote well-being and reduce loneliness

  • Meal Preparation: Preparing nutritious meals in line with dietary needs and preferences

  • Medication Support: Assisting with medication reminders and administration in accordance with care plans

  • Light Housekeeping: Supporting with household tasks such as tidying, laundry, and maintaining a safe living environment

  • Transportation: Accompanying clients to appointments, shopping trips, or social activities where required

  • Building Relationships: Developing strong, trusting relationships with clients and their families

Pay & Benefits

  • £12.90 per hour for 8 hours per day
