Job Description:
The Software Engineer III is a senior technical role responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting complex software systems built on Microsoft .NET, Azure Kubernetes platforms, JSON-based integrations, and DB2 databases. This role provides technical leadership, drives best practices, and ensures the long-term scalability, security, and reliability of enterprise software systems.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of complex .NET applications and services, with a focus on scalability, security, and overall maintainability, and alignment with business requirements and enterprise standards.
- Architect and maintain highly available systems deployed in Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
- Design and govern JSON-based API contracts and integration patterns.
- Oversee database design, optimization, and integration with DB2.
- Serve as an escalation point for high-impact production incidents.
- Review and approve code for quality, security, and performance.
- Collaborate with architects, DevOps, and cloud teams on system improvements.
- Mentor Junior Software Development/Engineering staff.
- Drive modernization efforts, cloud optimization, and technical debt reduction.
- Ensure compliance with enterprise security, audit, and regulatory standards.
- Contribute to technical roadmaps and architectural strategies.
- Deliver solutions on time, proactively managing risks, dependencies, and technical trade-offs to meet committed deadlines.
