JOB SUMMARY:
We are seeking a detail-oriented, proactive team player to join our growing team as a Loan Processor. This individual will support Account Executives in the end-to-end management of loan applications, ensuring a smooth and efficient process from submission through funding. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with experience handling high-volume deal flow and reviewing complex financial documentation. This role reports directly to the Director of Marketing & Operations.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Serve as a liaison between Account Executives and members to facilitate seamless communication and an efficient loan workflow.
Assist members throughout the loan process by answering inquiries, resolving issues, researching alternative solutions, and escalating unresolved concerns as needed.
Review loan application packages to ensure completeness and accuracy, including personal and business tax returns, pay stubs, bank statements, and other financial documents.
Collaborate with members to gather and submit all necessary documentation for lender approval.
Perform administrative and operational tasks including: sending monthly thank-you cards to members with funded loans, processing complimentary AOPA memberships and updating aircraft information for newly funded loans.

REQUIRED JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
Proven experience managing high-volume loan pipelines or financial service operations.
Familiarity with analyzing financial documentation such as tax returns, pay stubs, and bank statements.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Strong attention to detail and a proactive problem-solving approach.
Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency with Salesforce, Word, Excel, Outlook and the Internet.
PREFERRED JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
General Aviation enthusiast or pilot preferred but not required.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
This position works in an office setting.
Typical working hours are 8:30 am β 5 pm, Monday through Friday, with a one-hour lunch break.
Generally, a climate-controlled environment with occasional exposure to outdoor weather conditions when attending aviation related events, including exposure to higher altitudes and confined spaces if in a general aviation aircraft.

The physical demands of this position are typical of a standard office environment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee will regularly be required to:
Sit for extended periods while working at a computer or attending meetings.
Use hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, and other office equipment.
Communicate effectively via email, phone, and in-person, which requires clear speech, hearing, and vision.
Occasionally lift or move items weighing up to 15 pounds, such as boxes of materials or equipment.
Occasionally stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms during the course of normal office activities.

This position is located at AOPAβs Frederick, MD, office.
The hourly rate for this position is: $20.00 - $25.00, depending on education and experience. In addition, the position is eligible for to participate in the incentive program, which is based on team performance.
