MULTIDISCIPLINARY PROJECT MANAGER
Location: Eden Prairie, MN | Hybrid | Remote
Schedule: Full-Time
Salary: $95,000 – $130,000 (based on experience)
EVS is seeking a Multidisciplinary Project Manager to lead complex engineering and consulting projects from kickoff through completion. This role is ideal for a strong project leader who thrives in fast-paced environments, enjoys working with multiple stakeholders, and takes pride in delivering high-quality results for clients.
You will play a key role in coordinating technical teams, managing budgets and schedules, and maintaining strong client relationships while ensuring projects are delivered successfully and efficiently.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Take full ownership of assigned projects, ensuring delivery within scope, budget, and timeline.
- Manage complex projects involving multiple engineering disciplines and multiple clients.
- Mentor less experienced project managers and technical project managers, supporting best practices in project execution and client management.
- Handle complex or challenging client relationships, proactively addressing issues and maintaining strong partnerships.
- Manage project budgets and schedules, ensuring accuracy and alignment with project milestones.
- Monitor costs and proactively take corrective action when necessary to maintain financial performance.
- Lead change management processes including scope, schedule, and budget adjustments with proper documentation and approvals.
- Serve as the primary contact for contract review processes and ensure strong contract management throughout the project lifecycle.
- Oversee the invoice process, ensuring accurate and timely billing to clients and subconsultants.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships while managing expectations and project communications.
- Lead client discussions regarding project progress, risks, and change requests.
- Coordinate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure alignment across all project contributors.
- Develop strong mastery of the full project lifecycle from project initiation through close-out.
- Drive continuous improvement of project management processes and operational efficiencies.
- Ensure documentation, reporting, and deliverables meet both client expectations and organizational standards.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING
- Strong decision-making and proven experience managing complex projects involving multiple stakeholders, clients, and technical disciplines.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence teams and build trust with clients and internal partners.
- Experience mentoring or guiding less experienced project managers or technical team members.
- Strong proficiency with project management tools such as MS Project, Procore, Unifier, SharePoint, MDC, or similar platforms.
- Experience developing and managing project budgets and schedules with a strong understanding of cost control.
- Solid knowledge of contract management, scope management, and change management processes.
- Experience overseeing invoicing processes and ensuring accurate billing to clients and partners.
- Excellent communication and relationship management skills with the ability to navigate complex client interaction problem-solving abilities when addressing project risks or challenges.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and competing deadlines.
