We are looking for a professional, detail-oriented and customer-focused Booth Teller to provide secure, compliant and world-class remittance services. This role combines operational precision, regulatory responsibility and customer engagement in a fast-paced financial environment.

To provide remittance disbursement services in a professional, efficient and legally compliant manner while safeguarding company assets and customer trust.
Perform KYC verification for all inbound and outbound transactions
Verify foreign currency notes and ensure transaction accuracy
Monitor transaction limits in line with Central Bank guidelines
Identify and report suspicious transactions to the AML Reporting Officer
Assist customers with Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) forms when required
Cancel transactions that do not meet compliance standards
Count and recount customer cash accurately
Conduct daily cash-ups and reconcile balances
Safeguard float, devices, passwords and secure access to the safe
Ensure proper storage of devices and cash overnight
Greet and thank customers professionally
Provide clear guidance on Mukuru products and services
Promote additional Mukuru offerings where appropriate
Maintain confidentiality at all times
Complete daily and monthly reports including STR and cash threshold reports
Monitor hourly and daily statistics
Escalate compliance or security concerns immediately
Maintain high standards of housekeeping and security before and after trade
Participate in KPI discussions and performance reviews
Complete all required compliance training
Continuously build product and regulatory knowledge
Grade 12 (Essential)
Higher certificate or post-secondary qualification (Advantageous)
Minimum 2 years’ experience in the financial sector
Strong knowledge of foreign currencies
Advanced knowledge of FICA regulations
Experience using Cash Stops App system
Strong numeracy skills
High level of professionalism and integrity
Strong organisational and administrative skills
Attention to detail and accuracy
Customer-focused mindset
Ability to follow policies and procedures consistently
