Job description

The Satcom Direct Government (SDG) Senior Specialist, International Sales Operations will be responsible for the sales operations of the International Government team of Gogo. This international government team covers all countries except the USA. This role will be responsible for key sales operations of the international sales team, which currently manages over 300 aircraft globally, with revenues exceeding $20M USD annually and over 60 individual accounts.

The ideal candidate has experience in Sales Operations to drive new growth and develop new strategies.

How will you make a difference?

  • Cross-Functional Partner: Act as a strategic thought partner to Sales Leaders and cross-functional partners to drive revenue growth
  • Optimization and Clarity: Streamline the sales process by implementing standard methodologies and consistently improving key workflows.
  • Implementation: Identify education and tooling needs for the Sales team and collaborate with Sales Ops and cross-functional partners to address them
  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Use data and market intelligence to generate insights that inform decisions and strategy
  • Sales Strategy: Define commercial tactics and performance benchmarks to grow revenue, customers, and sales productivity
  • Sales Guidance: Lead and support projects that span incentives, Salesforce hygiene, workflow optimization, tooling adoption, and process improvements
  • Multi-tasking: Manage multiple initiatives at once, ensuring clear milestones, stakeholder alignment, and timely delivery
  • Market Analysis: Identify market opportunities and prioritize customer segments to address gaps
  • Order Processing: Ensure accurate and timely processing of government sales orders, maintaining compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements

Qualifications

  • 4-7 years’ experience in Sales/Business Operations, Consulting, Finance, or similar.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
  • Must be a fluent English speaker
  • Global travel will be required; frequency may vary depending on business needs
  • Must already be legally authorized to work and live in the UK or Australia

Required Skills, Talents, & Experience

  • Experienced with Salesforce CRM and BI tools (Tableau or PowerBI, CRM Analytics, Looker/Google Data Studio)
  • Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills
  • Ability to adapt quickly, learn new systems, and enjoy diving into varied challenges
  • An independent problem solver who thrives in ambiguity, takes initiative, and knows when to escalate or involve stakeholders
  • Can build strong cross-functional relationships and communicate effectively with leadership and peers
  • Has performed data analysis, program management, and process improvement

Preferred Skills, Talents, & Experience

  • Experience working in a hands-on, start-up, or scaling environment
  • Exposure to or interest in Business Aviation or Government Aviation is a plus
  • Fluent in multiple languages
  • Strong planning, organizational, analytical, leadership, interpersonal, decision-making, oral, and written communication skills

    Based on experience and responsibilities.
