Job description

Kunai builds full-stack technology solutions for banks, credit and payment networks, infrastructure providers, and their customers. We are looking for a Cloud Engineer to join our team and help build, automate, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure. In this role, you will work closely with architects and engineering teams to implement modern cloud solutions, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure-as-code practices that support secure and reliable applications.

What You’ll Do

Build and maintain cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
Design and support CI/CD pipelines to automate application deployment and infrastructure provisioning.
Deploy and manage solutions in Azure or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Collaborate with development and architecture teams to implement scalable and reliable cloud solutions.
Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize cloud environments and deployments.
Contribute to automation, reliability, and operational improvements across cloud platforms.
Follow best practices for security, performance, and cost optimization in cloud environments.

What We’re Looking For

Experience working with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Hands-on experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
Experience using Terraform for infrastructure provisioning and management.
Familiarity with cloud-native services, automation, and DevOps practices.
Experience troubleshooting and supporting cloud-based applications or infrastructure.
Ability to work collaboratively with engineering teams in an Agile environment.

Nice to Have

Experience with containers or Kubernetes.
Knowledge of monitoring, logging, or observability tools.
Experience with cloud security best practices.
Exposure to microservices or distributed systems.

Minimum Degree Required:

Bachelor’s Degree, in lieu of a degree, demonstrating in addition to the minimum years of experience required for the role, three years of specialized training and/or progressively responsible work experience in technology for each missing year of college is required
