  • Collaborate with other departments to resolve customer service issues; prepare and submit customer information forms and credit requests; develop and submit quotations and respond to pricing/product inquiries

The Customer Service Representative is responsible for managing several minor accounts within a clearly defined territory. The role acts as support to the sales team with the goal of providing better service and increasing our market share. They are also responsible for handling daily questions or issues, service requests and complaints, communicating promotions, issuing credits, and reinforcing our customer policies.

  • Salary range 002: $54,300 à $67,900 (Salary will be determined based on skills, education, training & experience related to the position.)

What this role involves: 

  • Represent Agropur with customers and also serve as a customer support resource for the Territory Coordinators (CTMs). 

  • Build relationships with distribution coordinators and distributor agents to manage customer follow‑ups. 

  • Prepare various reports, including those related to sales statistics, volumes, returns of unsellable products, customers, and ongoing action plans. 

  • Support the development of new customers within a given territory. 

  • Ensure follow-up on the introduction of new products and conduct prospecting activities related to the development of complementary products. 

  • Ensure follow-up with active and inactive customers in the assigned territory. 

  • Collaborate with other departments (distribution, master data, credit, pricing management) to resolve customer service issues. 

  • Prepare, review, and submit customer information forms and credit requests for existing and new customer accounts. 

  • Develop and submit quotations for foodservice customers. 

  • Respond to all customer inquiries regarding company products (pricing, technical sheets, etc.). 

 

 

What you need to join our team: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field required. 

  • Experience related to sales coordination or sales administration is an asset. 

  • Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite. 

  • Strong oral and written communication skills in both French and English. (English is required in order to work with colleagues from other Canadian provinces.)
