GoShare is seeking a Director of Finance & Business Analytics to lead financial oversight, forecasting, and marketplace intelligence. As a high-volume, transaction-heavy logistics marketplace, GoShare requires a leader who can work directly with large operational datasets, extract signal from noise, and translate complex transactional activity into clear business conclusions.
The Director will supervise accounting (A/P, A/R, G/L, and monthly close) while owning budgeting, pricing analytics, and compliance visibility across our driver network. This is a hands-on, data-driven leadership role—ideal for someone who is equally comfortable in SQL and advanced Excel models.
Financial Integrity: Oversee accurate monthly reporting, the close process, and supervise in-house accounting staff.
Strategic Forecasting: Lead annual budgeting and rolling forecasts tied to operational metrics.
Marketplace Intelligence: Build analytical visibility into pricing, driver density, and market performance to improve contribution margins.
Compliance & Reporting: Monitor driver compliance metrics across states and support quarterly board reporting.
Supervise the in-house accountant responsible for A/P, A/R, and G/L.
Review monthly financial statements and ensure a disciplined, timely close process.
Improve integration between operational and financial systems to reduce manual processes and enhance dashboard clarity.
Build and maintain integrated, dynamic financial models in Excel.
Conduct scenario analysis around pricing, demand, supply density, and cost structures.
Prepare materials for executive leadership and quarterly board meetings.
Pull and analyze data directly from SQL databases to evaluate market performance.
Analyze pricing performance within aggregator-tier environments.
Identify margin leakage and develop visibility into driver compliance exposure by state.

Compensation & Benefits
Salary Range: $105,000 – $155,000
Benefits: GoShare offers a comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) participation, and paid time off.
Final compensation is determined by various factors including, but not limited to, relevant experience, skillset, and internal equity.
Location & Legal Information
Preferred Locations: AL, AZ, CA, CO, FL, GA, ID, IN, MD, MA, MI, MO, NH, NJ, NC, OH, OK, SC, TX, and VA are preferred. Other states will be considered on a candidate-by-candidate basis.
