System Engineer (NOC Support)

About the Role

As an
 System Engineer (NOC Support) at Aspire, you will play a key role in ensuring the reliability, performance, and scalability of our cloud-based services. You’ll be part of a collaborative, fast-paced environment where ownership, problem-solving, and continuous learning are encouraged. Working with our modern technology stack—including AWS, Docker, Kubernetes (EKS), Terraform, and Go—you will proactively monitor systems, respond to incidents, and implement improvements that keep our services running smoothly for millions of users worldwide.


What You’ll Do

  • Proactively monitor infrastructure and services using tools like CloudWatch, Datadog, and Observe.

  • Identify, analyze, and escalate alerts and events following established procedures.

  • Conduct regular health checks to ensure service availability and performance.

  • Execute routine operational tasks, including configuration changes and service actions.

  • Develop and maintain operational runbooks, documentation, and knowledge base articles.

  • Act as the primary incident coordinator—facilitating communication, coordinating resources, providing updates, and leading post-incident retrospectives.

  • Provide feedback and guidance to infrastructure and application teams to improve uptime, performance, and observability.

  • Deliver exceptional customer service to all stakeholders.

  • Participate in an on-call rotation to ensure 24/7 service reliability.

What You’ll Need

  • A passion for ownership, problem-solving, and continuous learning.

  • Proven experience managing a 24/7 SaaS environment with excellent uptime.

  • Hands-on experience with at least one cloud platform (AWS preferred, Google Cloud, or Azure).

  • Proficiency in at least one scripting language (Python, Bash, or Ruby).

  • Experience with containers (Docker) and/or container orchestration (Kubernetes or ECS).

  • Familiarity with configuration management, automation, and infrastructure-as-code tools (Ansible, Terraform, or Puppet).

  • A collaborative, open-minded approach with a wide range of technical skills and interests.

  • Strong English communication skills—both written and verbal.

  • Awareness or knowledge of IT security best practices as defined by ISO/SOC or similar.
