Trade Finance NCT Operator.

Details of the role and how it fits into the team
 Trade Operations team is responsible for handling all Trade Finance products, within the Operations Team in Spain. The team is responsible for the accurate and timely processing of all traditional trade products and static Data related.. Team is focus on ensure that procedures are properly executed to reduce processing risk and identify potential areas for process improvement whether internally within the Bank or for our clients. The team also focus on testing Spanish Trade system improvements. The Operator will report into the Local head of Trade Operations.

Responsibilities

• Handle the day-to-day retain task Trade Finance procedure, to meet agreed customer service level agreements and review outstanding transactions.
• Responsible for responding to ad-hoc issues or internal client queries on a timely basis, ensuring all communications have been responded accurate.
• Identify, mitigate risks in the manual procedures and ensure compliance with internal policies and audit and regulatory requirements.
• Actively supports transformation and/or optimization initiatives to improve the efficiency/effectiveness of the process.
• Produce and Manage MIS, internal reports and statistics of department activities.

Skills

• Degree in Economics would be suitable.
• High level in English/Spanish communication and skilled at collaborating with diverse international teams.
• Excellent skills in MS-Office (specially Excel and Word).
• Banking expertise are valued.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, focused on quality and issues resolution.
