Graphic Designer & Video Editor (Remote - India)

Roles & Responsibilities

  • 3-5 years of experience in graphic design, digital design, video editing, or multimedia content creation.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating graphic design work across marketing materials, social media, and digital campaigns (portfolio required with application).
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, and After Effects.
  • Experience designing assets for email marketing, social media, and digital platforms.

  • Repurpose video and visual content across multiple platforms and formats, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage projects and meet deadlines.

Job description

Visit.org is looking for a passionate and ambitious Graphic Designer and Video Editor to join our remote team. This role will focus on creating compelling visual content that supports our brand, marketing campaigns, and storytelling across digital channels. The ideal candidate is a strong designer who can translate ideas into engaging graphics for email, social media, marketing materials, presentations, and digital experiences, while also bringing video content to life through thoughtful editing and motion design.  The right candidate will possess an entrepreneurial spirit, a deep passion for our mission, and the energy and discipline to thrive as a builder in a startup tech environment. 

Please note: This is a remote, India-based 40 hr/week contract position that requires working hours from 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM EST

Responsibilities: 

  • Create high-quality graphic assets for email marketing, social media, marketing campaigns, website content, and digital promotions
  • Design visual materials that support marketing and sales efforts, including presentations, sales decks, one-pagers, digital banners, and promotional materials
  • Develop on-brand visuals for social media and digital campaigns that communicate our mission and engage our audience
  • Design graphics and branded assets for marketing initiatives, campaigns, events, and company swag
  • Ensure all visual assets align with Visit.org brand standards, tone, and visual identity
  • Collaborate closely with marketing, content, and leadership teams to translate ideas into compelling visual storytelling
  • Edit engaging video content for marketing, social media, and brand storytelling initiatives
  • Support video production through editing, motion graphics, formatting, and post-production workflows
  • Repurpose video and visual content across multiple platforms and formats
  • Manage multiple creative projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining high design standards

Requirements

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in graphic design, digital design, video editing, or multimedia content creation
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating graphic design work across marketing materials, social media, and digital campaigns (portfolio required with application)
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, and After Effects
  • Experience designing assets for email marketing, social media, and digital platforms
  • Strong visual storytelling skills with attention to layout, typography, and brand consistency
  • Experience with video editing and basic motion graphics
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Experience working with nonprofits, media organizations, or mission-driven brands is a plus
  • Experience working in a fast-paced startup environment is a plus
  • Passion for our mission and the desire to make an impact in the world through technology
