Hiring for Multiple Shifts

Description of Role:

The Import Analyst will ensure that International Air and Ocean imports are cleared promptly and efficiently through Canada/US Customs through the coordination of import and export shipping activities necessary to release freight.

• Clear shipments electronically through Customs 
• Confirm entries. 
• Ensure all entries are submitted during time limits to avoid penalties.                     
• Answer all client inquiries via phone or email in a timely and courteous manner.   
• Perform clerical duties such as filing, preparing mail and data entry.                       
• All other duties as assigned.

Key Qualifications: 

• High School Diploma required.
• Minimum 2-3 years releasing goods in a customs brokerage environment as an HVS Import Analyst – AIR/OCEAN
• Customer Service experience in an office environment
• Exposure to the Transportation industry an asset
• CCS designation is an asset.
• Proficiency in MS Office, database and data entry skills is required.
• Strong communication skills – verbal and written is required.
• Problem solving, accuracy, and attention to detail is required.
