  • Provide comprehensive Revit support and training to professionals, including remote assistance and updating best practice/workflow documents
  • Develop and implement Revit templates and families, and establish industry standards and best practices
  • Assist with software installations and updates at client offices, manage Revit models in Scan to BIM projects, and maintain client relationships as the primary point of contact
  • Lead project setup and coordination activities, including BIM goals, project kickoffs, health checks, Autodesk Construction Cloud project setup, license management, and integration of add-ons

THE OPPORTUNITY

 

Are you the Revit "Go-To" person in your office? Do you love helping others learn and use technology tools? If so, this is the Career for you! We are looking for an energetic person, passionate about BIM technology, to join our team as a Revit Architecture BIM Support Specialist. Your primary responsibility will be to support Architects and Building Owners using Revit. This includes things like providing remote support for projects and staff, setting up Revit templates, building Revit families, developing and implementing standards and best practices and of course training. You'll be supported by our great team of BIM Managers and there will be lots of opportunities to further develop your skills.

 

For this position you’ll need to have a Bachelor of Architecture or equivalent degree, plus a minimum of 3 years’ experience using Revit in a professional setting. Experience with teaching Revit and with other related tech such as BIM 360/ACC, Revit MEP, Dynamo, and laser scanning is a plus.

Responsibilities:

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

  • Provide comprehensive support/training to professionals at firms using Revit.
  • Provided remote assistance for projects and staff, researching as needed and updating related best practice and workflow documents.
  • Develop and implement Revit templates.
  • Develop and implement Revit families.
  • Develop and implement industry standards and best practices.
  • Assist with installations and updates to software at client offices.
  • Assist with Development of Revit models in various Scan to BIM type projects.
  • Continuously strives to improve skills and knowledge, keeping up with latest versions of software and industry trends
  • Assist senior staff with research and development initiatives.
  • Responsible for maintaining client relationship
  • Day to Day Client Primary Point of Contact.
    • Ensuring Clients can successfully complete and deliver project.
    • Client Direction - Develop specific BIM goals for each client.
    • Negotiation and conflict resolutions skills to assist with BIM utilization
  • Thorough understanding and experience with design process from pre-design to CA.
  • Responsible for improving the usage of BIM technologies for their clients by simplifying workflows and sharing knowledge with teams.
    • Develop Best Practices and Workflows/Standards
    • Responsible for maintaining and improving managing, developing revit templates, revit family libraries and training plans and material for clients.
  • Conduct Project Kickoffs and advising teams on optimal workflows to support the needs of that project, and develop project specific resources.
  • Responsible for monitoring client projects (health checks)
  • BIM Beats and Kinship setup and integration.
  • Setup of Autodesk Construction Cloud Projects
  • Collaborate with Client IT to set up required infrastructure
  • Assist client with Autodesk license management
  • Experience with integration of various add-ons (Ideate, Enscape, Navisworks, etc. etc.)
  • Scan to BIM projects – working with point clouds

  • Must have minimum of 5 years’ experience with Revit in a professional setting.
  • Bachelor of Architecture degree (or equivalent degree) is required.
  • Experience with teaching Revit is a plus.
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
