Roles & Responsibilities

Requirements:

  • Deployment and Configuration: Deploy and configure Silent Eight solutions in customer environments (SIT, UAT, PROD), ensuring successful integration according to project requirements and the SOW.
  • Technical Support (L2): Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues (including escalated service desk tickets), perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and implement fixes or workarounds in collaboration with solution development teams.
  • Client and Team Collaboration: Work closely with Solution Architects, Project Managers, and client IT teams during deployments, solution validation, and the onboarding process to ensure smooth handover and alignment.
  • Continuous Improvement DevOps: Participate in optimizing internal processes and tooling. Support DevOps-related tasks, including CI/CD automation, deployment scripts, and environment setup for internal tools.

At Silent Eight, we develop our own AI-based products to combat financial crimes that enable things like money laundering, the financing of terrorism, and systemic corruption. We are looking for a professional Implementation Engineer whose main objective will be to ensure the successful deployment, integration, and stable operation of Silent Eight solutions in customer environments, along with providing expert technical support.


Responsibilities

  • Deployment and Configuration: Deploy and configure Silent Eight solutions in customer environments (SIT, UAT, PROD), ensuring successful integration according to project requirements and the Statement of Work (SOW).

  • Technical Support (L2): Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues (including escalated service desk tickets), perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and implement fixes or workarounds in collaboration with solution development teams.

  • Client and Team Collaboration: Work closely with Solution Architects, Project Managers, and client IT teams during deployments, solution validation, and the onboarding process to ensure smooth handover and alignment.

  • Continuous Improvement & DevOps: Participate in optimizing internal processes and tooling. Support DevOps-related tasks, including CI/CD automation, deployment scripts, and environment setup for internal tools.

  • Documentation and Knowledge: Contribute to the creation and maintenance of technical documentation (installation guides, runbooks, troubleshooting playbooks) and gather client feedback to identify process improvements.

  • On-Call Support: Be flexible to support urgent escalations (Severity 1 incidents) outside of regular business hours (on-call duty).


Requirements

  • Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins or similar), basic Kubernetes operations, and proficiency in Linux environments.

  • Familiarity with observability and monitoring tools (e.g., Grafana, Prometheus).

  • Ability to use scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash/PowerShell) for task automation.

  • Capability to diagnose issues across application, infrastructure, and data layers.

  • Experience managing tasks, reporting progress/risks, and following priorities in systems like Jira.

  • Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible) is a strong plus.

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with developers, architects, PMs, and clients.

  • Ability to communicate clearly with customers in English (mandatory).

  • Confident use of AI to speed up troubleshooting, documentation, and problem analysis.

  • Curiosity and willingness to learn and explore new technologies.
