General Construction Labour - Kelowna

We are seeking dedicated and hardworking individuals to join our team as General Construction Laborers. As a vital member of our crew, you will assist in various construction tasks to ensure the successful completion of projects. This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the construction industry.

Responsibilities:

• Perform general construction duties under the supervision of skilled tradespeople.
• Assist with the preparation of construction sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and setting up equipment.
• Load and unload construction materials, tools, and equipment.
• Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively as instructed.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Help with concrete pouring, mixing, and finishing as needed.
• Support team members in completing tasks within specified deadlines.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and coworkers to ensure project objectives are met.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in construction or a related field is preferred but not required.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions.
• Proficiency in operating basic hand and power tools.
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn new skills.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
• Basic understanding of construction safety practices.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation may be required.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Casual

Expected hours: 24-40 per week

• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• Overtime
