Project/Program Coordinator - MUST LIVE IN THE DMV AREA
Blue Sky Innovative Solutions seeking an experienced Project/Program Coordinator to assist and deliver complex projects with state government clients. This role requires a strong background in project coordination, excellent communication skills, and the ability to navigate the unique needs of government stakeholders. The candidate will serve as the primary point of contact, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with compliance and regulatory requirements
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS, DUTIES, AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Serving as Blue Sky's primary liaison between our organization and state government client stakeholders.
Validating and reconciling Blue Sky program invoices
Tracking project timelines and updating leadership and other internal teams with status reports on a scheduled and as-needed basis.
Research and submit bid proposals and contract applications.
Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, budgets, and reports.
Coordinate cross-functional teams, contractors, and vendors to meet project objectives.
Manage risks, dependencies, and change requests while maintaining project quality.
Escalating issues appropriately and driving the resolution of issues and conflicts internally and with other vendors/stakeholders where applicable.
Perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned.
Complete all administrative tasks required to perform above duties on time and within parameter
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
3-5+ years project or program management experience

Preferred Secret or TS clearance
Previous experience working with state, local, or federal agencies
Experience managing IT, digital transformation, or infrastructure projects in the public sector.
Knowledge of state-level policy, regulatory frameworks, and contracting processes.
EDUCATION
Bachelor's degree or equivalent required in Business Management, Human Resources, Public Policy, Communications, or related degree

Remote – Must live in the Washington, DC metro area
TRAVEL
10-20%, occasional onsite client visits
