Gentex Corporation is seeking a Regional Marketing Manager – Europe (Defence) to coordinate and support marketing activity across the European defence market.


This is an operational marketing role focused on enabling sales execution and ensuring regional activity aligns with global corporate standards. It is not a revenue-owning commercial leadership position, nor a standalone brand strategy role. The emphasis is on disciplined execution, cross-functional coordination and practical business support.


The role predominantly supports Defence activity across Europe, with additional involvement in the Industrial segment and internal marketing initiatives where required.


  

You will act as the regional connector between:

· UK & European sales teams

· US corporate marketing

· Product marketing

· Channel partners and distributors


You will translate corporate messaging into regionally credible engagement while ensuring alignment with global standards and governance. This role requires someone who can step into a regulated defence environment and contribute with minimal industry ramp-up time.

Requirements

Regional Marketing Manager Duties:

· Coordinating regional defence marketing activity across multiple European markets

· Supporting sales teams with technically credible, customer-facing materials

· Localising and adapting corporate content appropriately for European audiences

· Managing external agencies and suppliers with clear performance expectations

· Supporting exhibitions, demonstrations and customer engagement activity from a strategic and coordination perspective

· Ensuring regional activity aligns with corporate positioning and brand governance

· Providing structured feedback from the region to product and corporate marketing teams

· Managing regional marketing budget within global frameworks


You will operate with a high degree of operational autonomy, while remaining fully integrated within the global marketing organisation.

About You

We are looking for a marketing professional with credible defence or highly regulated sector experience who understands the discipline required in government-facing environments.


Essential:

· Significant B2B or B2G marketing experience

· Experience within defence or a closely regulated adjacent industry

· Demonstrated experience operating across European markets

· Experience managing agencies and suppliers

· Ability to navigate a matrix enterprise structure with professionalism and maturity

· Capability to translate complex technical information into clear, accurate communications


Highly Desirable:

· Existing defence industry network

· Familiarity with European procurement environments

· Background in aerospace, protective equipment or comparable regulated sectors

You will likely be:


· Comfortable working in structured, standards-driven environments

· Collaborative and enterprise-first in approach

· Confident engaging technical, operational and procurement stakeholders

· Self-directed but aligned to governance

· Practical, low-ego and focused on execution over visibility

· Able to build credibility quickly with both sales and corporate teams


Regular in-person engagement will be required in line with business activity and collaboration needs. Fully remote working is not supported for this position.
