  • Conduct field walks and oversee on-site construction to ensure safety, quality, and regulatory compliance; review site layouts and equipment configurations
  • Review construction drawings and specifications; support equipment layout and design; troubleshoot technical and field challenges to keep projects moving

As a Construction Manager, you will play a critical role in planning and executing wireless communication projects - ensuring they are delivered safely, on time, on budget, and with pride. You will partner with internal teams, clients, vendors, and property owners to turn plans into reality and challenges into opportunities.

 

What You Will Be Doing

You will lead projects from early planning through completion, with responsibilities that include:

 

Project Planning & Execution

  • Developing detailed project cost estimates (labor, materials, travel, equipment, and tools)
  • Managing day-to-day construction activities, schedules, and budgets
  • Coordinating with engineers, project managers, subcontractors, and site development teams
  • Supporting senior leaders with execution strategies and process improvements

 

Client & Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Acting as a key point of contact for clients, vendors, and property owners
  • Communicating requirements clearly and proactively
  • Participating in meetings, providing updates, and resolving field issues quickly

 

Field & Site Operations

  • Conducting field walks, site surveys, bid walks, and punch walks
  • Overseeing on-site construction to ensure safety, quality, and compliance
  • Reviewing site layouts and equipment configurations

 

Design & Technical Support

  • Reviewing construction drawings and specifications
  • Supporting equipment layout and design in accordance with client and regulatory standards
  • Troubleshooting technical and field challenges to keep projects moving

 

Continuous Improvement & Leadership

  • Identifying risks and recommending corrective actions
  • Contributing to best practices and standardized processes
  • Mentoring coordinators or field staff as needed 

 

What You Bring

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Telecommunications, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 1+ year of construction or construction management experience in telecommunications
  • OSHA 10-Hour certification (minimum)
  • Strong project management, organization, and time-management skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
  • A proactive, solutions-first mindset

 

Preferred (Not Required, but Awesome to Have):

  • OSHA 30-Hour certification
  • Experience with wireless or wireline infrastructure (towers, small cells, fiber, DAS)
  • Familiarity with permitting processes, construction drawings, and local regulations
  • Experience mentoring or guiding junior team members

 

Where You Will Work

  • Location: Salt Lake City, Utah-(Position requires being located in or near designated region)
  • Employment Type: Permanent-Full-time
  • Travel: 50–75% to project sites (including occasional overnight travel)
