HOMELINK, a VGM Group company and national provider of integrated specialty healthcare services, is seeking a proactive, relationship‑focused Network Development Executive to expand and strengthen our nationwide provider network that supports critical ancillary healthcare services. In this role, you’ll build meaningful partnerships with providers across multiple service lines while collaborating closely with internal teams to deliver high‑quality, seamless experiences. Position Summary: As a Network Development Executive within VGM HOMELINK, you are responsible for building and managing provider contracting and development for HOMELINK ancillary services: physical medicine, diagnostic imaging, hearing healthcare, DME, home health nursing, as well as transportation and translation, and more. The focus will be to support the provider development team by growing the provider network and providing high-quality experiences for providers.

Reporting Accountability: Director of Provider Network Development

Working Location: Remote, hybrid, or on-site in Waterloo, Iowa

Work Hours Classification: Full-time, Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm


Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish strong business partnerships with key providers and stakeholders while identifying and initiating opportunities to grow HOMELINK’s provider network 
  • Maintain a high-quality customer experience to providers and ensure that provider concerns/issues are addressed in a timely manner through a variety of communication platforms (i.e. phone, email, video call, etc.) and in collaboration with provider relations account managers and other cross-functional team members 
  • Act as a liaison between providers and HOMELINK operations, in collaboration with provider relations team members 
  • Follow processes to assist in resolving issues that may cause delays in payment to providers
  • Actively work with Marketing and Sales team to determine areas of focus for network development
  • Identify best ways to reach targeted network coverage for all HOMELINK services
  • Engage potential providers ranging in size from one-location to national networks and identify quality leads for provider network development 
  • Review new business opportunities and overall needs with leaders of each business unit, i.e. Physical Therapy, Acupuncture, Chiropractic, Diagnostic Imaging, Hearing Healthcare, DME, Transportation, Home Modification, and more
  • Conduct network development efforts over the phone
  • Conduct market research to identify new opportunities for provider network expansion
  • Work closely with HOMELINK Credentialing team in efforts to both build and maintain networks comprised of quality, credentialed providers
  • Collaborate with provider relations team members to conduct/lead regular stewardship meetings with large provider partners to retain strong business partnerships 
  • Identify service and non-service issues with networks and payers to help eliminate or minimize issues
  • Participate in sales training sessions
  • Assist with new employee training and onboarding 
  • Attend/exhibit at conferences and trade shows as needed 
  • Follows strict confidentiality and HIPAA privacy and security guidelines
  • Perform other duties assigned by leadership


Key Qualifications:

Education/Experience: 

  • Corporate sales or related experience  
  • High school diploma/GED desired  
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience preferred 
  • Must comply with continuing education per Company, regulatory, contractual, and accreditation requirements’ 

Skills and competencies: 

  • Ability to work in a fast paced, constantly changing environment 
  • Exemplary communication skills 
  • Exemplary organization, prioritization, and time management skills 
  • Knowledge of various healthcare industry billing and/or coding terminologies such as ICD-10, HCPCS, CPT, modifiers, and various Medicare LCDs 

Physical Requirements:   

  • Working at a physical desk, moving about the office and facility as needed for work 
  • Operation of office machinery and equipment 
  • Visual abilities to include reading, distance vision, and peripheral vision

Compensation Overview: 

The annual base salary range provided for this position is a nationwide market range and represents a broad range of salaries for this role across the country. The actual salary for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment. As part of our comprehensive compensation and benefits program, employees are also eligible for performance-based cash incentive awards.
