Roles & Responsibilities

  • Property Casualty Insurance license must be obtained within the first year; Life & Health, Excess & Surplus, or Crop Insurance licenses a plus

Experienced - Retail Agency Customer Success Representative


Pledge Insurance Advisors (PIA), a Farmers Mutual Hail (FMH) company, is looking to hire an experienced Customer Success Representative to serve as the first point of contact for customers who have questions regarding billing, policy changes, claims reporting, and endorsement requests. Assists in agency sales and account management activities to build and maintain agency book of business.  Works closely with Insurance Producers to ensure successful outcomes on the new and existing book of business. 

 

REQUIREMENTS:

Experience: Would like at least 5-7 years of agency or customer service experience or equivalent combination of education and/or experience. 

Education: Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Risk Management, Business, Insurance, Agriculture, or related field preferred (high school diploma required).

Skills: Proficient with Microsoft Office programs especially Outlook, Word, and Excel. Experience with agency management systems, specifically Applied Epic, is highly desired.

Licenses or Certifications: Must obtain Property & Casualty Insurance license within the first year in the position. Having Life and Health, or Excess and Surplus License and/or a Crop Insurance license is a plus. 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develops and maintains strong relationships with clients to ensure their ongoing needs are met.

  • Prepares insurance proposals for clients. May be called upon to present insurance proposals to clients on an “as-needed” basis.
  • Performs initial new business and renewal quoting to assist the Insurance Producers in their execution of the sales process.
  • Learns and understands the carriers represented by Pledge Insurance Advisors (PIA) and their insurance products.
  • Stays current on insurance trends and changes in the industry.
