Job description

At ioet, a leading software company with a talented team across LATAM, we provide Software Engineering as a service to clients worldwide. We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer with strong experience in Java-based backend systems with Spring Boot, solid TypeScript development skills for frontend tasks, and also strong experience using Claude Code.

This role requires engineers who are proactive, collaborative, and comfortable taking ownership of features from design to delivery. You will work on high-impact systems within the logistics and supply chain domain, building scalable services and collaborating with cross-functional teams to solve complex technical problems.

Requirements:

5+ years of professional software engineering experience, with heavier focus on backend
Strong experience developing backend systems with Java
Experience using Claude Code as part of your development workflow
Experience building microservices, APIs, and distributed systems with Spring Boot
Strong proactivity, sense of urgency, and ownership
Great problem-solving skills
Experience working with frontend in production environments
Strong understanding of object-oriented design and software architecture principles
Strong English communication skills - Minimum B2 level proficiency, C1 preferred
