Position Type: Full-Time Contract (40hrs/week)
Contract Duration: 6 months+
Work Schedule: 8 hours/day (Mon-Fri)
Location: 100% Remote (Candidates can work from anywhere in Mexico)

Job Summary

We are seeking an Integration Developer to design, build, test, and support enterprise integrations using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) and Azure Integration Services, including Azure Service Bus, Azure Event Hubs, and Azure Functions. This role will deliver reliable, secure, and scalable integrations between on-prem and cloud applications (e.g., Oracle ERP/HCM, Salesforce, APIs, data platforms), with a strong focus on operational excellence, monitoring, and incident response.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop integrations using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) (or Oracle Integration 3 / Gen 3), including orchestrations, mappings, adapters, schedules, and error handling.
• Build event-driven and messaging integrations using:
  • Azure Service Bus (queues/topics, subscriptions, dead-letter handling)
  • Azure Event Hub (stream ingestion, consumer groups, throughput considerations)
  • Azure Functions (triggers/bindings, durable functions where applicable)
  • Azure LogicApp (Integration workflow)
• Implement and consume REST/SOAP APIs, including API design patterns, pagination, retry, idempotency, and versioning.
• Define integration patterns (pub/sub, request-reply, async processing, event streaming, SFTP/file-based, where needed).
• Ensure security and compliance: OAuth2, certificates/keys, secrets management (preferably Azure Key Vault), least privilege, auditability.
• Set up and manage monitoring/alerts and operational support:
  • OIC monitoring, error hospital/reprocessing
  • Azure monitoring (Application Insights / Azure Monitor / Log Analytics), where applicable
• Support deployments and releases using CI/CD practices, environment promotion, configuration management, and change controls.
• Troubleshoot end-to-end production issues; perform root cause analysis and implement permanent fixes.
• Collaborate with architects, business analysts, app owners, and platform teams to deliver the integrations. Design, develop, test, and deploy applications using Azure technologies and services.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the application meets business requirements.
• Design and implement efficient data storage solutions using Azure SQL Database, Cosmos DB, Azure Table Storage, and related services.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC):
  • Integrations/orchestrations, adapters, mapping (XSLT/data mapper), fault handling
  • Connectivity to Oracle SaaS / DB / REST / SOAP
• Strong experience with Azure Service Bus, Event Hubs, and Azure Functions
• Strong understanding of integration patterns (messaging, event-driven, synchronous vs async, replay, deduplication)
• Strong API development/consumption skills (REST, JSON, XML, SOAP)
• Solid troubleshooting skills across distributed systems (logs, correlation IDs, retries, DLQs)
• Familiarity with DevOps concepts (Git, CI/CD pipelines, release management)

Preferred / Nice-to-Have

• Experience with Oracle ERP/HCM Cloud integrations and common enterprise apps (Salesforce, Workday, etc.)
• Experience with API Management (Azure API Management or similar)
• Knowledge of EDI, file transfers, MFT, SFTP, and PGP encryption
