Sourcing Manager Location: 100% Remote - Working hours would be between 8am - 5pm EST
Pay: $40-45/hr
Client is seeking two Sourcing Managers (both are covering leaves):
1) 6 month contract
2) 3-4 month contract

Responsibilities:
Cultivate a strong working relationship with the client by effectively communicating details of the program, anticipating client's needs, and providing an elevated level of customer service.

Proficient in negotiations to obtain the absolute best deal for the client.
Remain the point person for the hotel and client throughout the contracting process, ensuring the contract is completed with a cherry on top.
Possess organizational skills with finesse and have an interest in keeping every detail under control.
Skilled at building relationships. Cultivate positive relationships with clients, suppliers, and teammates, creating a network of invaluable connections.
Creative, proactively anticipate changes, and build innovative solutions.
Coordinate and attend global site inspections when needed.
May participate in re-negotiations or cancellation negotiations as needed.
Proactively develop positive relationships with multiple members of the client team, suppliers, and support departments.
Act as a leader by promoting a positive team environment and assisting with onboarding new colleagues as needed.
Qualifications:
5+ years in hotel procurement or equivalent
Vast experience with Cvent and are not afraid of technology
Complete understanding on the functionality of Cvent to advise and educate client users
Extensive knowledge of domestic destinations (international a plus)
Proactive in understanding client needs and enacting change with a consultative approach
Collaborative and passionate about building relationships
Negotiate best possible rates and program concessions for the component of SMM Procurement, leveraging client supplier relationships, utilizing processes and procedures outlined in the client agreements
Be knowledgeable of the client contract process, their legal addendums, ensuring client is appropriately informed of and represented in all terms and conditions contained within
Incredible communication skills to articulate vision, inspire, and motivate
Highly motivated at meeting timeline expectations
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
4-year college degree or equivalent experience
