Roles & Responsibilities

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience assembling, soldering, and inspecting components in accordance with IPC-A-610 and/or IPC J-STD-001 standards (preferred)
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand tools
  • Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Office, internet navigation) and ability to follow written and verbal instructions with strong attention to detail

Requirements:

  • Assemble components and subassemblies by hand using basic hand tools (torque drivers, screwdrivers, wrenches, pliers) and follow detailed work instructions to ensure accuracy and quality
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area and follow safety procedures
  • Accurately perform transactions in the ERP system to capture production data and report non-conformities to higher-level technicians or engineers
  • Pack and label finished goods for shipping and collaborate with team members to ensure products meet quality standards while complying with FDA GMPs, Quality System Regulations, ISO standards, and company processes

Reports to: Production Manager

This position is based on-site at our current manufacturing location in Olathe, KS.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assemble components and subassemblies by hand using basic hand tools such as torque drivers, screwdrivers, wrenches, and pliers.
  • Adhere to detailed work instructions to ensure accuracy during the assembly process.
  • Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Assist in packing and labeling finished goods for shipping.
  • Accurately perform transactions in the ERP System to capture the required production data and report any non-conformities to higher-level technicians or engineers.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure products meet quality standards.
  • Adhere to documented processes to ensure compliance with FDA GMPs and Quality System Regulations, ISO Standards, and other requirements as defined by company objectives.

Qualifications and Experience:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Prior experience assembling, soldering, and inspecting components in accordance with IPC-A-610 and/or IPC J-STD-001 standards (preferred).
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand tools.
  • Basic computer proficiency, including familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), and internet navigation.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or with minimal supervision.
