This full-time role is home based. You will be working closely with and reporting to IDEAL’s Vice President of Sales.
We are looking for a qualified Account Manager to build relationships with existing customers and forge new relationships with new customers.
EXPECTED TERRITORY: TBD Eastern USA and Gulf Coast USA
PRODUCTS: IDEAL Electric products including but not limited to electric motors and generators, condensers, motor-generator sets, switchgear, power systems and controls that are of new design, new build, re-manufactured or replacement including parts, repair, and service.

Manage marketing and sales actions | - Negotiate contracts for large machines - Manage the technical and commercial support to OEMs, EPCs and end-users in the territory - Coordinate sales activities with other Account Managers, as needed | 25% |
Work with Application Engineers | - Resolve issues related to requests for quotations - Provide guidance, as needed, to application engineers in order to clarify customer requirements | 10% |
Managing purchase orders and contracts | - Coordinate the analysis of contract terms - Resolve order entry issues - Engage in technical discussions with engineering teams at the factories, as needed | 5% |
