  • Minimum of 2 years of payroll processing or related experience preferred.
  • Experience with HRIS/payroll systems (e.g., data entry, reporting, audits) preferred.

Requirements:

  • Process payroll accurately and on time, including hours worked, PTO, bonuses, deductions, and benefit changes.
  • Ensure payroll compliance with wage and hour laws, tax regulations, and company policies.
  • Audit payroll, accruals, and HRIS data for accuracy and compliance.
  • Generate and provide reports to support payroll, HR, and management needs.

Description

Job Responsibilities:
  • Process payroll accurately and on time, including hours worked, PTO, bonuses, deductions, and benefit changes.
  • Ensure payroll compliance with wage and hour laws, tax regulations, and company policies.
  • Handle garnishments, new tax setups, and tax notices with precision.
  • Assist with year-end payroll tax reviews, reporting, and reconciliations.
  • Audit payroll, accruals, and HRIS data for accuracy and compliance.
  • Enter and verify timecard data with proper documentation.
  • Manage employee password resets and assist with employment verifications in the HRIS system.
  • Update HRIS for position changes, status changes, and compensation adjustments.
  • Generate and provide reports to support payroll, HR, and management needs.
  • Serve as a point of contact for general payroll, timecard, accrual, and tax-related employee inquiries.
  • Participate in process improvements, system testing, upgrades, and implementation of payroll and HRIS best practices.
  • Maintain meticulous records, double-check data entries, and proactively identify discrepancies or potential issues.
