SAP BASIS Stream Lead

We require an experienced SAP BASIS Stream Lead to own and lead the Technical Architecture & Infrastructure stream within a long-running S/4HANA transformation program. The role is accountable for end-to-end delivery of SAP Basis and technical activities, ensuring quality, stability, and timely execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the SAP BASIS delivery stream and team.
• Own technical delivery scope, timelines, and risks.
• Coordinate closely with the Project Manager and other streams.
• Participate in stream lead, runbook, cutover, and governance meetings.
• Perform and coordinate technical upgrades and system provisioning.
• Support functional streams and third parties with technical expertise.
• Prepare landscape for BAU operations post-migration (sizing, performance, security).
• Support performance testing and tuning activities.
• Maintain documentation, runbooks, and DevOps updates.
• Coordinate cost estimation and follow-up with controlling.
• Communicate planned downtimes and technical constraints.
• Infrastructure design and build.
•  Sourcing strategy and operations partner selection.
• Infrastructure migration outside S/4 scope.
• Governance model definition.
• Application scoping (handled by Test Stream) .

• Strong SAP BASIS expertise in complex landscapes.
• Proven S/4HANA migration experience (Bluefield preferred).
• Prior experience as Stream Lead / Technical Lead.
• Strong stakeholder and cross-stream coordination skills.
• Previous experience with SAP Conversion/Upgrade (SPAU, SPDD, S/4 Ready) and architecture.
