Job description

Position Summary:

The Specialist III oversees the assembly and national distribution of learner and faculty skills kits, ensuring timely and accurate delivery across all locations. This role manages large-scale kit preparation and coordinates with vendors, internal teams, and logistics partners to maintain operational excellence. The Specialist III acts as a central point for kit distribution, bridging the operational work of Specialist II and the oversight provided by the Senior Specialist.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the assembly of mass learner and faculty kits in alignment with organizational standards and timelines.
  • Coordinate with vendors and logistics partners to ensure nationwide distribution of kits, maintaining accuracy and timeliness.
  • Monitor inventory levels at national distribution points and facilitate restocking or replenishment as needed.
  • Conduct quality assurance checks on all kits prior to shipment, ensuring completeness and compliance with specifications.
  • Collaborate with Specialist II staff to ensure smooth handoff from sub-kit assembly to national distribution.
  • Maintain accurate records of kit assembly, shipment, and delivery using CRM, SharePoint, and other tracking systems.
  • Identify and troubleshoot issues in assembly or distribution, escalating to Senior Specialist or Supervisor as necessary.
  • Support process improvement initiatives to optimize efficiency, reduce errors, and enhance vendor and internal team coordination.

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; relevant associate degree with additional experience may be considered.
  • Minimum 3–4 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or operational coordination, preferably in educational or healthcare settings.
  • Experience managing large-scale kit assembly or distribution projects.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and CRM/inventory management systems.
  • Excellent communication skills for coordination with vendors, team members, and cross-functional partners.
Budgeted Hiring Range
$70,000$76,000 USD

All new hires are required to attend New Collaborator Orientation (NCO) in Salt Lake City, Utah. The College will cover travel, lodging, and other accommodations.
