SUMMARY

We are in search of an organized bookkeeper to work part-time on a 1099 contract for 5-10 hours a week.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Invoice clients weekly

  • Run payroll biweekly

  • Manage QuickBooks online

  • Send and manage contracts to our clients and recruiter subcontractors

  • Run and provide reports from QuickBooks such as profitability reports

  • Provide a balance sheet.

  • Accounts receivable and accounts payable

  • Bringing the books to the trial balance stage

  • Ability to make suggestions on new software and processes

  • Providing monthly and annual Profit and Loss statement to leadership monthly

  • Providing aged accounts receivable report to leadership

  • Manage aging receivables and collection

  • Identify inefficiencies and cost saving opportunities/trip the fat

  • Treat customers with enthusiasm and respect but also firmness when collecting

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3-5 years of experience

  • Proficient in QuickBooks Online

  • Be detail oriented...accuracy is key, organized and a strong communicator with the ability to manage the duties adaptively

  • Demonstrate patience and a sense of humor: You know the drill...needs can change on a moment’s notice, there are fire drills and deadlines, but you are able to adapt and adjust accordingly

  • Proficient with technology; solid knowledge of computer operations and internet-based applications

  • Calm demeanor and cannot get flustered easily
