  • Take over partially completed work, coordinate with staff and clients to gather missing information, and finalise accurate financial statements
  • Prepare and post Adjusting Journal Entries, correct and reclassify entries, and verify work for accuracy

Minimum 2 years of hands-on QuickBooks experience At least 2 years of bookkeeping experience in a Public Accounting Firm Strong grasp of accounting fundamentals and financial statement accuracy Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities Strong communication skills for client coordination Nice-to-Have (but not required): Experience working with Washington State businesses Exposure to WA State Excise and Sales Tax

Core responsibilities:

Complete full-cycle bookkeeping in QuickBooks for small business clients Efficiently enter sales and bank transactions in bulk Take over partially completed work, coordinate with staff and clients to gather missing information, and finalise accurate financial statements Prepare and post Adjusting Journal Entries, correct and reclassify entries, and verify work for accuracy Conduct monthly soft closes to ensure accurate Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet reports Understand payroll components to ensure correct financial reporting (note: this role does not involve processing payroll) Collaborate via email and text with internal team and clients to resolve bookkeeping queries
