About the Opportunity

We are seeking a high-energy, results-driven Business Development Associate to join our Sales team. In this field-based role, you will serve as a key driver of brand awareness and pipeline growth by conducting outreach to birthing hospitals and physician practices, generating qualified leads, and securing initial meetings that convert into proposal opportunities

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct heavy prospecting through in-person visits to hospitals and clinics to identify needs and schedule initial meetings   

  • Engage physician groups, hospital associations, advocates, and professional networks to expand brand visibility and open doors to engagement  

  • Successfully secure next-step meetings and transition qualified opportunities to senior business development leaders   

  • Achieve monthly targets for new meetings and opportunity generation   

  • Collaborate with marketing and business development teams to refine outreach messaging and leave-behind materials   

  • Build brand awareness and maintain integrity of messaging and outreach cadence   

  • Develop strong knowledge of the OB/GYN service line, hospital dynamics, regulatory environment, and competitive landscape  

  • Utilize CRM tools, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Microsoft Excel, and Outlook to manage outreach efforts  

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, communications, healthcare, or related field required.

  • High-volume, field-based cold calling experience required.  

  • Strong oral and verbal communication skills with the ability to connect and build relationships in person required.

  • Proven ability to overcome objections and deliver qualified leads required.

  • Detail-oriented, persistent, tenacious, and self-motivated required.

  • Ability to work independently and adapt outreach strategies as needed required.

  • 5+ years of business development or sales experience preferred.

  • Business development or sales experiencewithin the healthcare industry preferred.
