Project/Position Introduction:

Overview:

 

  • Working Pattern – Week 1 Friday 5pm to 10PM, Week 2 Monday 5pm – 10pm and Friday 5pm-10pm. Total fortnightly hours of 15

Injurynet partners with organisations to deliver a range of innovative workplace medical services such as medical assessments, early intervention programs and medical advisory services.   These services are all supported by our national independent network of medical practitioners, psychologists and physiotherapists, the largest of its kind in Australia.  We work with organisations across a diverse range of industries including some of Australia's largest employers.

 

About the role

 

 Reporting to the Manager, Triage Services, this  role will be responsible for providing telephone triage services to clients that are injured at work including:. 

  • Assessing a client's symptoms following injury or illness in accordance with clinical protocols
  • Providing clinical advice and support
  • Provision of early injury management advice and first aid  
  • Recommending further medical or allied health services as required
  • Implementing  new approaches and processes to meet the needs of our business

These roles allow you to work between the office and your own home on a fixed fortnightly roster and fully paid training is provided.  Candidates need to reside in the greater Melbourne area.

 

About you

 

 We want you if you have:

  • Experience as a Registered Nurse (Division 1 or Division 2 – Medication Endorsed)  for at least 3 years
  • Experience as a telephone triage nurse is advantageous
  • Superior clinical nursing assessment skills
  • Strengths in building rapport and relationships with clients
  • A reputation as a strong communicator
  • Confidence working with technology and good computer literacy skills
  • A passion for delivering high quality patient care
  • The ability to multi-task with great time management skills (who can manage and meet deadlines)
  • The ability to be a team player who can also work autonomously
  • To be eligible to work from home you will need a suitable internet connection
