Roles & Responsibilities

  • Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Sales, Business Development, Computer Science, Finance, or related discipline
  • Extensive professional network in the OneStream market, focused on medium to large enterprise clients
  • Proven success in selling professional services and generating new business; external consulting and/or Fortune 500 experience
  • Proficiency in Salesforce (preferred) and ability to prioritize multiple sales cycles with a continuous learning mindset

Requirements:

  • Lead new business development for the OneStream practice by collaborating with sales and marketing to set strategy, develop go-to-market plans, generate leads, nurture opportunities, and close deals
  • Expand active client relationships and develop new opportunities by working with delivery teams to craft proposals and win projects
  • Conduct market research and analysis of the OneStream/Technology Enablement landscape to identify opportunities, develop hypotheses about client issues, and organize client data to drive opportunities
  • Build brand and network, deepen expertise, and collaborate with firm leadership to pursue leads and deliver AI-enabled solutions while adhering to data protection and professional standards

Job description

CrossCountry Consulting’s Technology Enablement practice is quickly growing, and we are seeking an experienced business development professional to join our OneStream team. The Business Development Executive position will be responsible for identifying, generating, and closing new business opportunities for our OneStream practice. The primary role of this position will be generating new project opportunities by taking advantage of existing OneStream partnerships, networking, identifying target clients, meeting with clients, and working with our delivery teams to sell CrossCountry services to target clients. Expansion and development of opportunities with existing CrossCountry client relationships is also within the scope of the role. 

What You'll Do:
  • Win Business 
  • Lead new business development efforts for the OneStream practice by working with the OneStream sales and marketing team to set strategy and craft tactical go to market plans, develop leads, nurture opportunities, and close deals 
  • Lead the sale of projects with organizations not currently served by CrossCountry Consulting 
  • Expand active relationships to increase opportunities with current clients, and looks for ways to build new client relationships 
  • Collaborating with delivery teams and internal leadership to develop proposal details and approach 

  • Understand our Clients and their Business
  • Lead research, analysis, and interpretation across the OneStream and Technology Enablement market, including client performance and client competitor performance; identify possible impact opportunities through effective market analysis and industry knowledge
  • Develop hypotheses about client business issues based on sound analysis in addition to client, sector, and industry knowledge
  • Research, organize, and manage client data to assist in driving opportunities

  • Develop Client Relationships
  • Look for ways to build new client relationships (e.g., actively work existing relationships, networking contacts, professional affiliations and industry groups)
  • Expansion and development of further opportunities at existing client relationships
  • Support relationship development with large, key clients as part of the OneStream leadership team

  • Build Our Brand 
  • Develop a strong internal and external brand and network
  • Become proficient in CrossCountry's consulting model, methodologies, and technologies
  • Continue to deepen and broaden expertise to enable an expanded viewpoint on the issues impacting our clients
  • Actively collaborate with other CrossCountry leaders to pursue leads and see opportunities through completion
  • Contribute to developing and implementing firm-approved, AI-enabled solutions for clients, in accordance with company policies on data protection, intellectual property, and professional standards
  • Stay informed about emerging AI tools and techniques and collaborate with firm leadership to identify compliant opportunities to enhance client solutions and internal processes

  • What You'll Bring:
  • A bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Sales, Business Development, Computer Science, Finance or other related discipline 
  • Extensive professional network in the OneStream market, focused on medium to large enterprise clients 
  • Demonstrated success in selling professional services, networking, and generating new business 
  • Professional Services experience in an external consulting capacity and/or within a Fortune 500 company 
  • Demonstrated ability to expand client accounts and identify and penetrate new accounts 
  • Proficiency in Salesforce a plus 
  • Ability to prioritize multiple sales cycles 
  • Comfort with AI: Demonstrated ability to responsibly explore and adopt firm-approved AI tools to enhance productivity and innovation. 
  • Continuous Learning Mindset: Openness to learning and applying emerging technologies including AI and automation in alignment with firm policies and client standards.
