About the opportunity:
We’re looking for a Senior Application Engineer to design and build the applications and services that bring AI/ML insights to life for end users. This role bridges the gap between raw data/models and the user experience—delivering intuitive, performant, and scalable solutions. You will work across the full stack, from server-side APIs and microservices to engaging front-end interfaces, while ensuring seamless integration with our AI/ML ecosystem.
Responsibilities:Develop full-stack applications and workflows with modern architectures, following 12-factor app principlesBuild and maintain backend services in PythonDesign and implement RESTful APIs and containerized services for application deliveryCreate intuitive, high-performance front-end experiences using frameworks like React, Vue.js, or AngularCollaborate closely with Solutions Architects to ensure application design aligns with business and technical requirementsImplement cloud-native solutions on Google Cloud or Azure, including containerization, async events, and cloud managed servicesWork with relational and NoSQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB), including schema management and database schema migration toolsApply testing frameworks and best practices to ensure application quality, performance, and scalabilityParticipate in Agile ceremonies—daily scrums, sprint planning, architecture/design sessionsContribute to automation, CI/CD strategies, and release managementEnsure code quality, security, and adherence to non-functional requirementsBasic Qualifications:4+ years of professional software development experience with full-stack applicationsStrong proficiency in PythonExperience building RESTful APIs and containerized services (Docker, Kubernetes)Strong front-end skills with React, Vue.js, or AngularExperience with Google Cloud services for application deployment and scalingSolid understanding of microservices architecture and 12-factor app methodologyStrong database experience with MySQL, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or SQL ServerFamiliarity with configuration and secret management toolsKnowledge of testing frameworks and Agile/Scrum methodologiesExcellent troubleshooting, debugging, and system design skillsCompensation & Benefits:
